Origin
Abel is destined to create a technology in the 31st century that will later make Imperiex a virtually undisputed warrior. In the 41st century, the Resistance created a clone of Superman X and a self-regenerating hybrid to destroy Imperiex. When Superman X appeared to fail his mission, Terra-Man was sent to the 31st century to kill Abel and effectively eliminate Imperiex. Abel lived on an isolated desert planet with his caretaker a robotic woman and a robotic dog for company. When Terra-Man arrived to kill him, the Legion of Superheroes intervened at a ranch where he lived with a robot caretaker and refused to kill Abel. They teamed up with Imperiex to save the seven year old and relocate him. At a young age, he created action figures to play with out of loneliness.
